The Maritime Labour Convention 2006 coming into force is one of the most significant recent events to affect the seafaring industry.
CESG were audited in June 2013 by Det Norske Veritas (DNV-GL) and were certificated as a Private Recruitment and Placement Service based upon the requirements in the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006, regulation 1.4. DNV-GL is one of the most respected classification societies in the world with a long-standing reputation for quality and integrity.
What makes us stand apart from our competitors is that our certification is not only MLC compliant but to a specific ISO standard and applies to all of our managed employing entities who are issued their own certificate. So all of our customers and employees can rest assured that the individual services we provide to them are fully MLC compliant and audited to a recognised standard for certification.
We are extremely proud that we have issued over 40 different fully audited and approved SEAs all tailored to each of our clients’ specifications in alignment with the MLC, 2006 and various flag state regulations. These SEA’s are all in use within the Superyacht, Cruise and Shipping industries for thousands of seafarers from over 80 different jurisdictions.
